Historically, foam plate mounting tapes were divided into two thickness categories: 380 μm / 15 mil for label printing (narrow web) and 500 μm / 20 mil for flexible packaging printing (wide web). Nowadays, customers decide individually which category offers the most benefits for their processes.

Our tesa Softprint^® assortment offers both thickness categories at an equally high level of quality in terms of print results and adhesive properties.

Product descriptiontesa® 4965 is a transparent double-sided self-adhesive tape consisting of a PET backing and a tackyfied acrylic adhesive.

tesa® 4965 features especially:

Product descriptiontesa® 7475 has been successfully deployed for many years, both when it comes to assessing the release properties of silicone coatings (FINAT 10 or similar) and testing the curing of silicone coatings (FINAT 11 or similar).
For a comprehensive characterization of release properties it is recommended to use both tesa® 7475 (acrylic adhesive) and tesa® 7476 (natural rubber adhesive).

The Surface Protection Tape is made of L.D.P.E, PVC, Polyester Film and is available in Transparent, Milky White, Black & White and any other colour as per customer's specification. Self Adhesive Surface Protection has excellent protection against damages and scratches. This Tape has adjustable peel force, No Adhesive Residue, Weather Resistant and UV Resistant. This tape is used to protect surfaces from scratches, dust or any dirt. When removed it will leave no adhesive residue until 2 years. The tape can be used on glass, steel, plywoods, powder coated, glossy, metal and many more surfaces. Each surface has a specific tape which is required so please contact our technical team before applying. We can also do printing on surface protection tape and give you surface protection tape in other colours but the minimum other quantity has to be 30,000 sqmts. Normally the Black & White tape comes in 40 & 70 micron thickness and transparent and milky white comes in 40 micron total thickness.
